Our Teen Leader programme is an amazing opportunity for young people to get more out of their school holidays. Benefits for our Teen Leaders include; Develop communication and interpersonal skills. Learn and develop leadership skills from our fantastic team of coaches and teachers. Join in with our multi-sports sessions and refine your own sporting skills. Collect Volunteer hours for Duke of Edinburgh award. Help decide whether a career in sports coaching or teaching is for you. Teen Leaders will not deliver any sessions. They are there to observe and support the qualified coaches/teachers. They will not be left unattended at any time with a group of children. Please note we have a limit of 6 places available for Teen Leaders each week.
Camp notes
You will receive a Teen Leader t-shirt and lanyard (This is covered by the £30 Teen Leader fee). You will be expected to wear this each day as uniform.
Please let us know what size t-shirt you require.
Please arrive promptly at 9am. You will be expected to interact with children attending the camp, assist coaching sessions and act responsibly throughout your time at camp. Our camp managers will instruct you as to which groups you will be assisting each day. You will report to them at breaks, lunch and at the end of the day for a check in.
Please note we cannot be responsible for mobile phones being brought to camp. You will be expected to follow our mobile phone policy while attending camp. This includes no pictures being taken and no use of phone during sporting sessions.
